Under the military school scholarship scheme Sujanpur Tihra school’s 530 students are given scholarships of sixty lakh eighty four thousand seven hundred fifty rupees. 349 students are given Rs. 49000/- as scholarship under the High School Merit Scholarship Scheme along with under the Maharshi Valmiki Scholarship Scheme 89 students are given Rs. 800000/-, under the Indira Gandhi Excellent Scholarship Scheme Rs. 117000/- are given for 117 children and students of National Indian Military College Dehradun’s 8 students are given Rs. 50000/- as the scholarship in HP state. Children living below the poverty line IRDP scholarship scheme to encourage Higher Education to student’s from 77717 Scholarships given to Himachal.
The plan expenditure of Rs 47355490/- have been made. For the encourage children of tribal areas to higher education for 201 general students has been given Rs. 2211000/- under the Thakur Saini Negi Excellent Scholarship scheme along with the Rs. 24700000/- are given to 2747 scheduled caste (SC) and other backward classes (OBC) students under the Dr. Ambedkar Meritorious Scholarship Scheme. With sections reserved for general category students in Himachal Swami Vivekananda excellent scholarship scheme are being provided stipend. From the academic session 2009-10 total 3015 students had provided Rs. 30150000/- along with 61 general category students has given Rs. 12850/- and for other backward classes (OBC) 3138 students are given Rs. 3138000/- under the Pre-metric scholarship scheme. More than a dozen schemes is providing scholarship to students in HP state. The purpose is to encourage students for higher education for all.

- Last date of registration or submission of online scholarship application Students who are studying outside the state is 20th November 2024 (2023)
- Last Date of taking print out of application form along with the scheme necessary document or certificates by the student to their Institution November 2024
- Last Date of online verification of applications form by the Institutes is 30th November 2024 (2023)
